Servoy Magazine: PowerDesigner (Sybase) and Firebird

[ED: sybase agressive marketing at work , "then they fight you" ]

It has been two years now since a couple of Sybase guys walked up to the Servoy booth at Apple's developer conference in San Francisco and checked the product out. Very soon after that introduction Sybase replaced Firebird to become the default database to ship with Servoy.

Firebird 2.0 RC2 (gold) is out. What's next?

Firebird Database 2.0 RC2 builds are available for download and testing (including kits for x64 Linux). More details about this release are in the full changelog

Firebird 2.0 RC2 has just been released. As we have to complete the documentation and solve some minor installation issues. Also, there were a few regressions fixed in the meantime.

But should one expect RC5 and so on? This depends on you only. The better you test the server and provide us with the feedback, the sooner we release the final version

so i'm looking again for job (I had to finish all my administrative tasks at
